Reimerswaal

Reimerswaal was originally a prosperious little town, which was lost to nature; its name lives on in the Municipality of Reimerswaal. Here you will find space. In terms of surface area, it is one of the largest municipalities of Zeeland. Its more than 20,000 inhabitants on average have more than 1 hectare / inhabitant. Its area includes a large part of the water of the Eastern Scheldt and Western Scheldt.

To the east, Reimerswaal borders on the municipalities of Bergen op Zoom and Woensdrecht in the Province of North Brabant. To the south it borders on Belgium; the city of Antwerp is a neighbouring municipality. The Eastern Scheldt is the border in the north, and the Western Scheldt is the southern border. The municipalies of Goes, Kapelle and Borsele are its western neighbours.

Reimerswaal consists of the following places: Kruiningen, Yerseke, Krabbendijke, Waarde, Rilland, Hansweert and Oostdijk.
