Noord-Beveland

Noord-Beveland is a beautiful island to live, work and enjoy life. Each of the municipality's six villages contribute to the island's rural character in their own, distinct way. The villages are: Colijnsplaat, Geersdijk, Kamperland, Kats, Kortgene and Wissenkerke. North Beveland has more than 7000 inhabitants.

The island has several nature reserves. It is situated on the Eastern Scheldt, which was designated as a national park in 2002. There is so much nature in and around North Beveland, that it is actually fair to say that 'the Landscape' determines its structure. There is only local business activity in North Beveland, and there is no scope for expansion.
