Tholen

Welgelegen I

Given its regional focus, this site has a broad profile for business establishment. The site has industry and trades, construction and installation companies, and trading companies. There are both small and large businesses. The first phase of Welgelegen I has been completed, and the second phase has been largely allocated and is under construction. It has excellent accessibility; the site is situated approximately 10 km (in the direction of West Brabant) from a link to the motorway network.

Welgelegen II

Welgelegen II is a new business park. In 2003 the first phase was prepared for building. At this visible location, there is scope for large-scale retail trade. The rest of the site has been designated for lighter categories of activity. The first company established itself here in 2004. There are still various lots for sale where large-scale retail trade is permitted.

Although this is a site with mixed business activity, the emphasis is on wholesale, industry, technology and construction. This site also includes a centre for entrepreneurs, which accommodates starting companies.

Poortvliet

The Poortvliet Business Park consists of three parts, two of which have more or less been integrated into the residential area. Within these two parts, the activities include transport, furniture, car trade and companies related to agriculture. The third part of the site is situated to the north of the residential area. In addition to a few local businesses, this part mainly accommodates packaging companies and furniture shops. This part of the site has a high-quality image.

Scherpenisse

This site, which is situated along a northern arterial road in Scherpenisse, accommodates only a small number of companies. The business development that has taken place is linked to the auction (large sheds, storage and trade). According to the zoning plan, the site has been designated for businesses that provide services to agriculture. All the land has been allocated.

This is a fairly small site with mixed business activity.
