Hogeweg

In order to meet demand from new and expanding businesses, Hulst has the high-quality business park of Hogeweg. This site, with a total surface area of approximately 55 hectares, is situated closely to the N290/N258 junction. Another 11 hectares (Hogeweg IV) have recently been added to this site. The Jan Snel Group, which specializes in modular building systems, is established here. Approximately 70 businesses, representing a variety of sectors, are established at Hogeweg. Business lots are still available at different locations at the site. In addition to Morres Wonen, businesses such as the mail order companies Neckermann and Pabo, the concrete manufacturer Bleijko, the roof and dormer window manufacturer Docotherm and Hoefijzerfabriek Kerckhaert are important in the Municipality of Hulst. Transport, (whole)trade and service-providing companies represent the largest component of the corporate sector in Hulst.

In order to be able to continue to offer sufficient business accommodation in the future, the 5th phase of Hogeweg is currently being constructed. It is the intention that this phase will have a high-quality profile, and that it will include zones that combine accommodation for living and working. The 5th expansion phase will cover an area of approximately 30 hectares. The business parks near Hulst have a regional character, and are situated at a distance of only 6 km from the Belgian road network. It therefore offers excellent accessibility.
